Google has released a new update to make searching for information about the COVID-19 vaccine and registration easier. In the wake of the country's growing number of Coronavirus cases, the US-based company has added new functionality to Google Maps to assist people in India in locating vital mechanisms to search medical oxygen and hospital beds.

Google Search is one of the most significant changes Google has made to its website. When a user searches for COVID-19 on Google, they will be directed to information about vaccines, vaccination centers, and appropriate measures to take to prevent the virus from spreading. The search engine also provides a connection to the government's CoWIN system.

Furthermore, Google Search promotes genuine information from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on virus self-care, prevention, and treatment. In addition, Google has created dedicated Doodles on its homepage to raise vaccine awareness and enable people to wear masks.

The company's Google Maps feature also allows users to share the locations of over 23,000 vaccination clinics around the country. To stop false information, the information is made directly available on government websites in as many as eight Indian languages.

Not only that, but Google has also introduced Q&A functions that enable people to exchange information locally. However, since this information is provided by users, Google cannot guarantee its accuracy.

The Apple-Microsoft rivalry has reappeared.

Microsoft has recently begun airing advertisements comparing its Surface hybrid tablet and laptops to the iPad Pro and MacBook Pro. Apple - Microsoft Actor John Hodgman appeared in a nerdy, ill-fitting suit in front of a white background at a virtual product launch for Apple's Mac reboot in November. “Stop, hold on, one more thing, hi, I'm a PC,” he said, referring to the famous Mac vs. PC television advertisements from a decade earlier, which subtly telegraphed the impression that Apple was cool and Microsoft wasn't. The event was held to inform Mac fans that the new machines would be having a faster processor. The subtext, however, was clear: Apple Inc.'s old rivalry with Microsoft Corp. had resurfaced. The two companies had found a reason to work together for many years. Microsoft Office and other applications started showing up on the iPad and iPhone, and Apple also invited Microsoft to a product launch. Microsoft made its products compatible with new Apple features
